Numbers are shown in their China-domestic format. Short codes and 400 numbers may not connect from abroad; use the official website instead. Hours are China local time. Numbers have not been test-called.

Official phone numbers & websites

Choose the actual operator, airline or province. These checked references are neither a national lost-property database nor an exhaustive company list.

Domestic numbers retain their published format. From abroad, ordinary landlines generally use +86 with the initial 0 of the area code removed. Short codes, 95/96 and 400 numbers may not connect overseas. Confirm availability, languages and hours with the organization. Public sources were checked; the numbers were not test-called.

Sources checked:

City metros (12)

A city can have multiple operators. Give the line and station; these operating hotlines do not necessarily handle every line or station directly.

High-speed & conventional trains (18)

High-speed and conventional trains share the 12306 system. These are regional railway customer-service centers, not lost-property offices at stations with the same name. Provide train, date and stations to identify the responsible office.

Airlines (6)

Contact the operating airline, not just the ticket seller. Ask customer service for the appropriate baggage office. Cabin items, checked baggage and terminal losses use different channels.

Taxi companies & transport enquiries (6)

Identify the company from the receipt or booking. Listed companies are checked examples, not nationwide coverage. Complaint lines can direct you but are not dedicated lost-property lines. For DiDi or another app, use help within the original trip rather than an expired virtual number. Ask 12328 for the local channel if the company is unknown.

Immigration enquiries (provincial) (31)

These NIA numbers are provincial enquiry lines, not individual counters. Jiangsu includes Suzhou/Nanjing; Zhejiang, Hangzhou; Guangdong, Guangzhou/Shenzhen; Fujian, Xiamen; Sichuan, Chengdu. Use the official office finder for your location and foreign-national service. This hotline cannot issue your home country's passport.
