Terms of Service / 利用規約

1. Service

森果株式会社 provides communication, search coordination, collection assistance and delivery arrangements for property lost in China. We act as an independent support service and are not an official lost-property office, railway, airport, police authority, hotel, ride-hailing platform or carrier.

2. Search fee — USD 30

The search fee covers initial work, including telephone inquiries within China and communication with relevant parties. Payment authorizes us to begin. We use reasonable efforts but do not guarantee that an item will be located. You may cancel before work begins for a full refund; once search work begins, the USD 30 fee is non-refundable because work and related costs have been incurred.

3. Recovery and delivery — USD 200

This fee is requested only after the item has been found and a standard recovery route has been confirmed. It includes normal communication and coordination, local transportation and travel, collection and handling, and standard international delivery to the customer. You do not pay this fee if the item is not found.

Restricted goods, exceptional transport, remote areas, unusually valuable or oversized items, storage penalties and other cases outside the standard scope require a separate quotation by email. We proceed only after your approval.

4. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, evidence of ownership, any authorization required for collection and a deliverable address. You must not request recovery of property you do not own or possess authority to receive. You are responsible for responding before any holding deadline.

5. Shipping and third parties

Transport operators, police, hotels, storage facilities and carriers make their own decisions and may impose identification, authorization, storage or shipping requirements. Some items—including cash, identity documents, batteries, medication, liquids and prohibited or dangerous goods—may not be eligible for ordinary delivery. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by customs, carriers and recipient-country rules.

6. Cancellations, refunds and liability

Except as stated above or required by law, fees for work already begun are not refundable. If we cannot provide a paid service for reasons within our control, we will refund the corresponding unprovided portion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of opportunity, decisions of third parties, or damage and delay outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Japanese law. The Wakayama District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
